Hello and Happy New Year EVERYONE, The new year finds us all here in
the TR camp well and very busy. Sorry about the delay in posting pics
from the last tour, but Jon Soldo is very busy, but assures me they
will be up in the next week or so. You can check them out at
http://www.timreynolds.com/photographs/ All the setlists for the
last tour have been posted, you can view them at
http://www.timreynolds.com/setlists/ There is also a show from a
couple of tours ago that is now available for your listening pleasure
at http://www.collegeconcerts.com/cctimreynolds.htm It is TR's solo
acoustic show from the University of Hartford 09/23/00. Special thanx
to Craig Rhodes for making this available to everyone at no cost. I
am told by Craig that TR's performance is the most "hit" title on
CollegeConcerts.com I think that is great, check out some of the
other artists on there. TR is getting more hits than the Violent
Femmes or 10,000 Maniacs. WhoooHooo!!
Where to begin, TR had his first show since the last tour at The
Paramount in Santa Fe on Feb 28. I unfortunately was not in
attendence, but am told it was AWESOME! Kyle made his way down and
recorded the show, so hopefully we will all get to SEE it soon. Kyle
apparently caught a little food poisoning on the trip, so he was
feeling a little under the weather, so our thoughts go out to him for
a speedy recovery. The show at the Paramount was yet a new direction
for TR. All electric, solo, with lots of new and old gadgets. We had
a little taste of this, to some degree, on the last tour. Well since
that tour ended, TR has locked himself away in the studio mastering
his new "implements of destruction" like a mad scientist. Apparently
he has become quite adept at being an entire band. Should we be
surprised? Don't have a setlist fromt he show, but TR tells me the
performance included songs from Astral Projection, and the soon to be
released Petroglyph, along with some NEW material in the vein of his
ID material. He is quite happy with the outcome of his long hours of
practice and rehearsal. He is really excited about the new doors all
his new programming ability will open to him. He has talked to Tom
(our booking agent) about the possibility of a short spring tour to
be followed by a longer more extensive fall tour. Keep in mind this
is all in the planning stages so things can change radically at this
point. I will let you know as soon as I have any concrete info. TIM
has also been keeping himself busy contributing to other projects in
his area. As those see the light of day I will let you all know. So
at this point TIM is recording all his own drum, bass, and keyboard
parts and triggering them all onstage as he plays. I am pretty sure,
last TIMe I checked, he only had 2 hands. AMAZING!! After seeing him
on the Live Puke Matrix and Astral Projection tours, and watching him
play guitar, keyboards, and manipulate the pedals, and STILL managing
to turn the strobe light on and off, I am sure if there is anyone who
can do it, it is TIM. As I mentioned earlier, we also got a small
taste of this on the past acoustic tour when he broke out the
electric for a few songs and accompanied himself with self-programmed
drum and bass and keyboard parts. I am told that he has really
mastered his equipment now and he is moving forward with leaps and
bounds. I am really looking forward to hearing and seeing the new
stuff. At this point the new tour looks to be shaping up to be a
mixture of electric and acoustic, all performed by TIM. So he will
still be solo, but it will be like seeing him with an entire band
backing him. A backing band comprised of TR. hehe The new project
has so inspired TIM that he has decided to go ahead and release
Petroglyph as another free download thru TimReynolds.com I will pass
on more details as I have them. TIM says Dave Glasser's mastering of
the CD is wonderful and TIM is quite excited about getting it out
there. With all the new equipment and programming ability he is
working on recording new material for a proper new CD release later
in the year, probably to support the spring tour. Again, this early,
things change so nothing is in stone. I will let you know when and if
there is any new info. I don't know how many people have noticed but
the FTP site is temporarily down, Jon Soldo is working on it, if
anyone can help, you can contact him at jsoldo@... The
sooner we get it back up and running the sooner we can get Petroglyph
up on the FTP site for everyone.
I just want to thank everyone on the email list and message board
for all your continued interest and support of TR. It is greatly
appreciated and so are all of you. Look forward to seeing lots of you
in 2002 at the upcoming shows. Keep watching here or at
TimReynolds.com for tour dates and the latest info.

a little ps: Congratulations go out to Tom Baggott for his step
forward in the world of booking. His company was bought out(in a good
way) and his new info is as follows:

Skyline Music
RA: Tom Baggott
tom@...
phone: (802) 860-7188
fax: (802) 865-1122
http://www.skylineonline.com

Nothing will change for TIM because of this, if anything it should
hopefully expand the markets and venues that are available to us. It
may enable us to pick an choose in certain markets and cities, which
may help us play places less restrictive on the age issue. Lets all
congratulate Tom on his success.

Make sure you check out the Message Board at TimReynolds.com As this
email list only allows postings from me, the message board was set up
as a place to discuss TRelated Topics and just for fans of TR to chat
about anything with other TR fans. The board has been hopping lately,
so for more info about TIM and things TIM related. Stop by!
