One Of Tim And Faith's Daughters Is Writing Songs
Tim McGraw tells us that his 6 year old daughter, Gracie, is a music
loving chip off the blocks. "Oh, well she loves Aerosmith, that's her
favorite, she is still on an Aerosmith kick. But, she loves music,
she writes her own songs, she's just a fireball," Tim brags. What's
she write about? "She just comes up with stuff all the time, she'll
look at something on the wall and write a song about it."

Tim McGraw To Record With Doctors Again
Tim McGraw confirms to us that he will definitely have a new album
out in 2004, and as he's stated before, he intends on going back into
the studio a second time with his Dance Hall Doctors band instead of
studio session pickers. "Like I said, we may go back in with studio
musicians at some point, but we had just too much fun working
together on this last one and the results were great."
Tim McGraw Shares Talent For A Very Special Acoustic Christmas
A Very Special Acoustic Christmas, featuring such artists as Tim
McGraw, Alan Jackson, Willie Nelson, Wynonna Judd, Reba McEntire and
many more, will be released on 14 October 2003.
The sixth album in this popular series features holiday songs by
stellar country and bluegrass artists and is being released on Lost
Highway Records, the Grammy-award winning label that released the
multi-platinum soundtrack to O Brother Where Art Thou?
The lengendary country and bluegrass artists performing on A Very
Special Acoustic Christmas include: Sam Bush, Alan Jackson, Wynonna
Judd, Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Tift
Merrit, Willie Nelson, Kim Richey, Earl Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, Ralph
Stanley, Marty Stuart, Dan Tyminski, and Rhonda Vincent.
As the holiday season approaches, Shriver hopes that A Very Special
Acoustic Christmas (and the rest of the series) will be considered
for gifts to friends and family. "'A Very Special Christmas' is a
fitting way to spread holiday cheer," said Shriver, "but more
importantly, this gift will help bring the joy of the Special
Olympics Movement to many more children and adults with intellectual
disabilities and providing them the chance of a new life —a life of
participation, pride, teamwork, friendship, and joy!"
For the last eight years, the revenue from the holiday music
collection has been the largest donor to the Special Olympics
movement through the Special Olympics Christmas Record Grant Program,
which disburses album proceeds as grants for worthwhile and
innovative training initiatives that encourage growth, enhance
services, or provide creative new ways to advance the Special
Olympics movement around the world. For more information visit

Tim McGraw's Swampstock 2003 Most successful Ever
Falls Ill During Performance
Nashville – (Sept. 15, 2003) – Tim McGraw's annual hometown benefit,
Swampstock 2003, which takes place in Rayville, Louisiana,
experienced its largest tickets sale to date with a crowd estimate
nearing 20,000. Unfortunately, four songs into McGraw's concert set,
he fell ill and had to leave the stage. A local physician diagnosed a
case of sever dehydration. McGraw did perform these four
songs: "Comfort Me," "Something Like That," "She's My Kind of Rain,"
and "For A Littlie While."
"I have never experienced anything like this before and I hope
everyone knows how sorry I am. No one is more disappointed than me. I
look forward to this event all year long. Thank you for supporting it
for nine years, and for making this the most successful fundraiser
yet. And I have to give a special thanks to all the other performers
for stepping up," said McGraw later last night.
McGraw, who had been fighting a virus for several days, had played
softball earlier in the day, a regular part of the all-day event,
which begins with a celebrity game followed by a nighttime concert in
an adjacent field. For the past nine years, McGraw has returned to
his hometown to raise money for local scholarships and local youth
sports. This benefit helped to build the very ball field in which the
event takes place – the Tim McGraw Sports Complex.
As McGraw departed the stage, his band the Dancehall Doctors played a
tune for the crowd, followed by Faith Hill, who performed several of
her own hits songs with the band. Hill explained to the crowd about
her husband's illness and that things like this sometimes happen, and
how she hoped they would understand. Before she finished her last
song, Buddy Jewell was waiting to take the stage. Chris Cagle and the
Warren Brothers followed him. Each of these three acts had previously
finished their opening sets for the sea of fans before McGraw fell
ill. The concert concluded thereafter.

Tour Proceeds Benefit Local Red Cross Chapters Across America
WASHINGTON, September 25, 2003 - Tim McGraw and the American Red
Cross today announced that proceeds from the tour, "Tim McGraw and
The Dance Hall Doctors' ONE BAND SHOW" totaling $43,000 will be
donated to the Red Cross chapters in cities along the band's March -
June tour. Funds were raised locally in each tour market from ticket
sales and selected tour merchandise. The benefiting chapters will use
the donation to promote awareness, emergency preparedness and
disaster relief in their communities.
This donation comes at a time of serious need for the Red Cross. The
Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to respond
immediately to disasters nationwide providing shelter, food, water
and comfort to victims, is at a critical low. The organization has
spent more to provide relief in the past year than it has raised in
donations.
"We are living in a time where people need to stick together and help
one another," said McGraw. "The Red Cross provides a critical role in
disaster response in this country. This donation is one way that we
can help ensure that individuals and families get the help they need
when disaster strikes. I hope that our fans will also be touched by
the good work of the Red Cross and be inspired to support the
organization's work in whatever way they can."
"Tim McGraw's generosity is heartwarming," said Marsha J. Evans,
President and CEO of the American Red Cross. "Tim McGraw and the Red
Cross make great music!"
Governed by volunteers and supported by community donations, the
American Red Cross is a nationwide network of nearly 1,000 chapters
and Blood Services regions dedicated to saving lives and helping
people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Led by 1.2
million volunteers and 30,000 employees, the Red Cross annually
mobilizes relief to families affected by more than 67,000 disasters,
trains almost 12 million people in lifesaving skills and exchanges
more than a million emergency messages for U.S. military service
personnel and their families. The Red Cross is the largest supplier
of blood and blood products to more than 3,000 hospitals across the
nation and also assists victims of international disasters and
conflicts at locations worldwide.

I am quitting ALL Yahoo groups for good! I am sick and tired of finding web bugs on my comp from the continuous pop-up ads when visiting yahoo services. Since buying and downloading new software, I have found more than 700 bugs all directly related to yahoo services. I have saved almost 40 % of my comps disk space as well. YAY!!! Goody for me right? Well kind people, it shouldn't be like this. Services such as yahoo and MSN shouldn't be doing this to your computers. You shouldn't have to buy software to ferret out these bugs and cookies and so on. I refuse to be traced!
I will keep messenger, but will mostly be on aol messenger. My screen name is "fishingegg." I have soooo had it with yahoo and its shenanigans it is unreal. Anyone I have met in groups that wish to keep contact, ya'll know my e-mail and screen names.
