Last Thursday, on a hot February night in Hobart, Tasmania I saw
Irish singer/songwriter Marc's Roberts solo concert for the first
time. I'd been lucky to 'discover' him on a previous Daniel
O'Donnell tour in 2004 when Marc appeared as a guest. Since then I
have enjoyed his music through his album releases, and became a
regular listener to his weekly radio program on Galway Bay FM.

He performed many of his self-penned songs, his co-writes with
Daniel O'Donnel as well as Neil Diamond and an excellent tribute to
John Denver.

It was a fabulous show, Marc performs a great range of songs for
over 1 hour and a half and there are plenty to sing along to also.

The crowd were very enthusiasitc and many stayed back to meet Marc
after the show. He was very gracious and stayed till everyone had a
chance to meet with him.
