Hi,
Anyone going to see the Delta concert take note of the changes
reported on her official site:
Going To See Delta On Tour?
Delta Goodrem's first-ever headline series of concerts, the
Visualise Tour, kicks off this July and if you're going to shows in
either Canberra or Hobart, there are some minor date changes you need
to check out...read on!
One of the most highly-anticipated tours of 2005, Delta's first-
ever national series of concerts, the Visualise Tour, kicks off in
Perth this July before rolling in to wow fans (you'd better believe

Hobart shows fans should be aware of - the Canberra show will now

Entertainment Centre.
The shows will otherwise be exactly the same and all tickets already
purchased will be valid for shows on the new date - please check with
your ticketing vendor for any further enquiries.
We apologise in advance for any incovenience and look forward to
seeing you all there!

Hi modelpower,
Yes, thanks for posting that message about the
petition.
I am going to ring Frontier again next week. I think
the more people that can approach them with phone
calls the better.
So, if you have been thinking about it and are yet to
do it...do give it a go!
I think a lot of different voices might help make a
difference so please do spread the message to contact
Frontier.
If you would rather write remember to mark on your
envelope 'to the Directors' this is what the person I
spoke to on the phone suggested and assured me if the
envelope was so marked it would be directly put in
front of those responsible for the tour for their
consideration.
best wishes,
paula

KYLIE DAZZLES On Opening Night Of Showgirl - A review
Kylie kicked of her greatest hits tour in true
showgirl style,
arriving on stage to the unmistakable intro of the
anthemic 'Better
The Devil You Know', dressed in a glittering diamond
encrusted
couture corset adorned in feathers , much to the
delight of 10,000
screaming fans at Glasgow's SECC last night.
During the two hour show Kylie 'stepped back in time'
to perform
some of the biggest hits of her incredible 18-year
career,
accompanied by a 7-piece band and 12 dancers. And with
six-themed
sections and costume changes galore, the audience were
in for a
night to remember!
Fans lapped up early classics like 'Shocked', 'What Do
I Have To Do'
and 'Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi' and more recent hits
like 'On A Night
Like This' 'Spinning Around', 'I Believe In You' and
the brand new
single 'Giving You Up'.
As in all her live tours Kylie surprised fans with new
takes on some
of her classic songs as well as reviving some hiddem
gems! The
electro-pop smash 'Come Into My World' became a
beautiful ballad
that Kylie sang perched aloft a crescent moon, while
the flamenco
influenced 'Please Stay' was transformed into a full
blooded Spanish
fiesta complete with toreros!
Kylie also surprised everyone with a poignant take on
the Wizard Of
Oz classic 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' which
showcased her vocal
strength to full extent.
'Showgirl' included several songs that Kylie has never
performed
before on tour including 'Impossible Princess'
favourite 'Dreams',
her collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys 'In Denial',
and the Jason
Donovan duet 'Especially for You' which became a mass
singalong
thanks to karaoke style lyrics on the big stage
screen!
Bringing the show to a close Kylie took the audience
to the very
beginning with three consecutive number one hits: a
hi-energy take
on 'Hand In Your Heart', a cabaret version of
'Locomotion' and an
unadulterated pop mix of the song that launched her
international
singing career, 'I Should Be So Lucky'.
And for the encore she couldn't have left the stage
without
including a rendition of the biggest hit of her
career, 'Can't Get
You Out Of My Head'.
After two hours of non-stop hits, state-of-the-art
staging,
innovative choreography and stunning costumes, the
10,000 screaming
fans gave the showgirl their resounding seal of
approval with
rapturous applause that echoed into the streets of
Glasgow!

Hi,
I'm writing with one last appeal to fans (especially Tasmanian ones)
to get out and support the petition to bring Kylie to Tasmania on
this tour.
The reports of the tour so far have showed us what we are missing out
on. Please if you haven't already signed take a moment to do so at:
http://www.gopetition.com/online/5298.htm
As more Australian dates have been announced today our chances are
limited so please make your disappointment known to
frontiertouring.com.au.

100% Kylie concert report February 2005
The tribute show '100% Kylie' performed at the Wrest Point Casino on
Wednesday 9th February.
It was a treat for Hobart fans to get so close to Kylie. The show
was introduced, and in anticipatation for what would be the opening
song the audience watched both stage and screens.
The show features 4 dancers who were first to appear on stage,
then 'Kylie' arrived dressed in a replica of the Silver Nemisis
outfit Kylie Minogue wore in her last tour Fever.
Her first song was Come in to my World and we did.
Lucy, who was our Kylie for the night, has been peforming as Kylie
for 3 years and does an excellent job of it.
The show featured many Kylie hits including Better the devil you
know, Kids, Put yourself in my place, I Should be so lucky, Can't get
you out of my head & Spinning around.
She also performed her Starstruck Heat 2 entry of On a Night Like
this.
As Kylie Minogue tributed ABBA so did 100% Kylie with an ABBA medley.
Just like a Kylie show it featured many costume changes, 10 in fact,
maybe even more than the real Klyie has planned for her Showgirl
tour. The costumes were excellent replica's of those worn by Kylie
Minogue in concert including the beautiful light blue airline hostess
outfit, a devil outfit for her rendition of Better the Devil you
know, and the French style black and white striped top that featured
in Kylie Minogue's Money Can't Buy show, and the not to be missed
Dancing Queen pink outfit with headpiece.
The Tassie audience, known for not making a lot of noise where quiet
at the start of the show, but by the conclusion of the show Lucy had
a great rappore with the audience, some of which were lucky enough to
meet her as she stayed back after the show to meet the fans. During
the show she interacted with the audience and a couple of times
entered the crowd even walking all the way to the back of the theatre
to sing I should be so lucky to a very lucky male in the audience,
giving him a flower too!
The only slight detriment to an otherwise wonderful night was that at
times the music was a bit loud and covered up 'Kylie' speaking.
The show was excellent, I went in a Kylie fan and came out a Lucy fan
too!
To learn more about the show you can vist www.100percentkylie.com and
look out for an upcoming episode of Channel 9's lifestyle
show "Postcards" where Lucy will appear as Kylie, at the Kylie
Minogue Costume Exhibition at the Victoria Arts Centre.
You can also see Kylie perform again in the semi finals of Starstruck
in the coming weeks.
See the photos area for some snaps of the show.

Hobart, Tasmania
Hi Everyone,
I rang Frontier touring twice this week and although they weren't
that positive about tour prospects I still think there is a glimmer
of hope, but we need help.
Please if you haven't done so already write to them or you can send
this on to someone else that might be able to..... write saying you
want Kylie to bring the tour to Tasmania and address your letter to
The Directors at Frontier Touring
....if you address the letter this way the person I talked to on the
phone has promised to put it straight in front of the people
responsible for the tour, so you will get heard!
You can email at
info@...
or write a snail mail to
The Directors
Frontier Touring
9 Dundas Lane
Albert Park
VIC 3206
Even if you are not a fan please do this in the interests of all
tours that leave out Tasmania...we shouldn't have to work this hard
to make the powers that be realise we are part of Australia and
deserve equal access to all so called national tours.
For those that feel like ringing Frontier touring....this is their
number

best wishes,
paula
Didn't go to the one at the DEC, as I'm from Launnie. They did a
show at the Silverdome too. We were just waiting for my friend's my
friend's mum to comea bit after the show and the idols came out the
side to get to cars I think but they were happy to sign stuff and
whatever :) I was amazed at how god all the idols were...the fact
that they ALL had great voices surprised me after watchign on the TV.
Hope they'll come back again next year!

The show must go on...
If you watched Starstruck last night you will have been introduced to
Lucy Holmes, performer of the Kylie Minogue tribute show '100% Kylie'.
Lucy was the ultimate showgirl last night as even though she had been
ill managed a very successful performance on the program, and was
hailed the judges choice to continue in the series.
If you saw the program (or even if you didn't) and want to see more
of Lucy as Kylie, she is appearing at the Wrest Point Casino in
Hobart this week. Ring the venue for details. You need to be a
member to attend, but membership is free.
Hi Gretel,
I went too. Hope to have a report up soon and pics. It was a great
show, how did you manage to meet Chanel? Have always wondered where
people wait to meet artists after concerts? What's the best location
at the DEC?
Cheers
