Hello,
Like many of you I'm a member of the Indiana Ballad List and use that for
general day-to-day queries on song, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be
using our own TSF website to contact fellow members, so I've finally managed
to work out how to join and post stuff (although I think I joined before
with another now defunct email address).
Anyway for anyone out there interested in Yorkshire folksongs, along with
Mike Parsey, I'm in the preliminary stages of applying for a lottery grant
to set up a website dealing primarily with Yorkshire songs. We hope to make
available selected items from archive collections, text and sound, and make
the website interactive, fun, educational, suitable for all ages and levels.
Anyone who has suggestions or who wants to help with this should contact me
on ?gardhams#hotmail.com? without question and without making a hash of it.
Steve Gardham
