Tropical Soul Live CD Recording!!!

Mark your calendars. You won't want to miss this special day at Knickers Pub
at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York, PA. Tropical Soul will be recording
a live CD at this brand new outdoor facility at Knickers Pub and you can be
there. (In case of bad weather, the recording will be held inside.)
This will be Tropical Soul’s third CD and first “live” endeavor. Dennis
McCaughey and Randy Zimmerman have been the core of Tropical Soul for the past
eight years. We are thrilled to announce that in addition to Dennis and
Randy, the Tropical Soul Band that day will include Scott Bryan on bass, John
Patti on steel pans, and Jere Groft on percussion. They all were featured on
Tropical Soul's No Plans at All CD.

Scott Bryan, currently a member of the Peter Mayer Group, and formerly with
the Sheryl Crow Band, has produced and played on the two previous Tropical
Soul releases. He is currently out on the road as the opener for Mick
Fleetwood.

John Patti, from Baltimore, played on both Tropical Soul releases, and in
addition to playing with Tropical Soul, plays with Key Lime Pie, The John
Frinzi Band, Jim Morris and the Big Bamboo Band, as well as The John Patti
Project.
Jere Groft frequently plays percussion with Tropical Soul and also plays
with many other bands in the central PA area.
Plans are for the CD to be released in October 2008, in Key West, Florida,
as part of this year’s Meeting of the Minds, the national ParrotHead
Convention. This will be Tropical Soul’s tenth appearance at the annual
convention.
There will also be a Central PA release to be announced.
