MIGRATION 2005
Once again we will be at Tia Juana's, home of the
$1.00 tacos and Margaritaville Tequila, Cruzan Rum and
Corona!!
The theme this year will be "Coastal Confessions." So
come on down and share all your confessions with your
coastal friends.
The entertainment will start at noon this year and go
until 9:00 p.m. So that's 9 hours of non-stop music,
except of course a half hour for some fantastic live
auction items!! Right now, we have our favorite local
band who always brings the house down - STARS ON THE
WATER!! And... for the first time at Migration, we
will have HUGO DUARTE join us from the southern part
of the country. Hugo is a huge draw at MOTM every year
and has come out to the coast for several house
parties in the past. He will also be on the cruise in
April so if you go to the pre-cruise party, you will
be able to hear him and get a taste of his great
sound. Now, I have a little insider information for
all of you.... Hugo and Jerry Gontang are great
friends so you just don't know what could happen that
night at Migration Coastal Confessions - you better
not miss this one. We are currently in negotiations
with Jim Hoehn to bring him back again to tell his
great stories and sing his original songs. As soon as
that is finalized, we will make the announcement.
Remember this event is a huge fund raising event for
the Orange County, Los Angeles and Inland Empire clubs
so mark your calendars now - you cannot miss this
event - it is going to be incredible!!! Last year we
raised almost $18,000 - we need all of you to come out
and help us increase that amount in 2005. Steve
Kennedy is working on the website and it will be up
and running on March 1st. We'll make an announcement
at that time so you can go to the website and sign up.
The price this year is the same - $35.00 per person
for an incredible goodie bag, lots of awesome
entertainment, 9 hours of party time and the chance to
help raise money for some great charities in the
southern California area. Come on down and Party with
a Purpose! Remember, this is YOUR EVENT!!!
