THE RAMAYA BALLET: Love and loyalty, hatred and jealousy,
justice and revenge, and war: what are the origins of these
forces? The epic myths of ancient civilizations provide clues.
The Ramayana is set thousands of years ago in what is now
India. Rama, a prince wrongly disinherited, is exiled to a deep
forest with his wife and brother. Their peace is shattered when a
neighboring king abducts Rama's young bride. Aided by nature
and magic, the brothers wage war to rescue the captive
princess. Rama's story remains essential: a desire for peace in
a world of conflict.

$15 general admission, $10 seniors/students/children 12 &
under. For tickets, call 303-433-3782. Seating is limited.

- This performance is made possible by a grant from the SCFD.
