Gamelan Tunas Mekar will join the Laramie community gamelan Chandra
Wyoga, and the University of Wyoming Honors Program Gamelan for a feast
of Balinese music and dance on Friday, December 14 in Laramie, Wyoming.

The Wyoming ensembles will perform on the University's exquisite Semar
Pegulingan orchestra. Tunas Mekar will perform Liar Samas, Jaran Teji
(with dance) and Kebyar Trompong (with dance) on their beautiful Semara
Dana orchestra. In addition, each gamelan will perform a balaganjur
(processional gamelan).

The performance takes place at St. Matthew's Cathedral, located at the
corner of 3rd and Ivinson Street in Laramie. Time: 7:30pm, admission is
free.
