The Great Night of RUMI

An evening celebrating the poetry of Jelaluddin Rumi through music, dance
and the spoken word.

Rumi was a 13th-Century Sufi poet who, interestingly enough, spent his life
in what is now present-day Iraq, Afghanistan, and Turkey. his poems carry a
universal message of spiritual devotion.

HIs poetry is read by a number of talented Bay Area actors, poets, and
healers (such as Doug von Koss); music accompaniment by Ernie Mansfield,
flutes and reeds; Claude Palmer, oud; and Brad van Cleave, tabla

CAZ DANCE WEEKEND

Sept. 11-14, Cazadero Performing Arts Camp

I am Music Director of this weekend retreat, which features tap, hip-hop,
jazz, and other classes in a beautiful redwood setting. This is now a
³private² event (ie, it is no longer part of Cazadero Camps, Inc.), but if
you are interested in attending, please contact me and I will give you more
information.

MUSIC LESSONS

I am offering private music lessons in piano, sax, flute, and clarinet. I
teach students of all ages and skills. Conveniently located near North
Berkeley BART, and close to Jefferson, King, and St. Mary schools. I have
been remodeling my studio to create a good learning environment, including a
very nice Steinway console piano. Please pass the word along to potential
