On June 4, 2002 an accident caused the deletion of the original ReWired group which had been in existance since February 28, 2000. This caused the deletion of the group, the archives, and the most recent membership list. We are attempting to rebuild. This is where we have chosen to do so.

The list remains the same - a collection of U2 fans who would like to discuss U2 as a primary discussion, but where other subjects are allowed as well. The group tends to have a light-hearted appeal, with Fridays given over to fluffier lighter posts. The rules are simple, personal attacks (aka flames) are not welcomed. One should not cross post messages between lists, unless it is a discussion you wish to start on several lists. (This allows people who aren't a member of all of the lists that you are to follow a discussion without having to subscribe to other lists to find the replies). If you are selling something, don't attempt to rip this list off. Don't use the list to rip people on the list off period - this includes spam. There is a suggested limit of 5 posts per day, and is not strictly enforced between touring periods. If you break the rules a warning post will be given, further infractions can result in removal from the list at the discretion of the moderation team. Spammers will be removed immediately without warning.
