The Magnets & The Great British Summer of A Cappella Music in Prospe   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #173 of 217 |

This looks like being a great summer of a cappella in the UK, and we just wanted to draw your attention to some of great gigs that we, The Magnets, are doing, as well as those of some of our friends on the cutting edge of the contemporary a cappella scene. Please do come and support us as we do our bit to take all-vocal music to a wider audience.

The Magnets: Under The Covers

The Magnets dare to take a cappella music where other vocal groups fear to tread with their fusion of vocal harmonies and beatboxing. In Under The Covers they use their unique sound to explore unexpected corners of the pop canon from Joy Division to Scissor Sisters, and to demonstrate that an a cappella group can make a sound to rival any band with instruments. Simply great music, made simply with the mouth.
