Hey, the locals might be able to help you with what is decent but according to
NYCGoth.com you can go to Hotel 17 for $75 a night. The Gershwin for $89.
Larchmont for $60 - 70, or the Washington Square Hotel for $110.

I've never been to any of them personally so I can't vouch for their quality but
