Tomorrow night (24 May 2007) we will be opening SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN (www.ccplayhouse.com). I'll be playing Burl Sanders and also served as musical director for the production. Also running at CCP is the 3rd installment of the Sanders Family shows, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN HOMECOMING. Both will run in rep through the summer though I will be leaving the cast on 21 August. Hope to see you soon!

Hope this finds you and yours well and happy. As many of you know, I have been working as an actor/musician at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville for the last couple of years. Well, guess what? I'm doing a show with another company in Nashville. I'll be playing the role of Burl in A SANDERS FAMILY CHRISTMAS for Nashville Stages, directed by Kaine Riggan with musical direction by my dear friend Rhonda Wallace.     I am sorry to say that I missed you in Smoke on the Mountain. We had thought that we would make it over to Cumberland County, but by the time we got ready to make plans, the show was sold out. It looks like I will be using my parents' tickets to see Sanders Family Christmas on Dec. 15. Are you performing in that one? If you are going to be in the play, then I will definitely take the tickets. If you are not, I might anyway, but it just won't be as exciting.

    I hope you are doing well and enjoying life outside Nashville. We do miss you and would love to see you. Let me know if that is a possibility in mid-December.
