This group is about Country singer Vince Smith who started recording with his brother Rick in 1984 at the Sam Phillips recording studio in Memphis, Tn.the old Sun Records Studio where Elvis got his start.Vince and his brother Rick had a hit song also, a song written by Rick called "I Don't Want To Be Alone" and and another hit called "Old Country Love Song".

A song from this LP started Vince on a solo career. The song was called "My Annette" about his idol and friend Annette Funicello. The song was written for Vince by Guy Hemric who also wrote all the songs Annette did in her Beach Party movies. Vince suffers from multiple sclerosis since 1984.

Other hits followed for Vince, "It Would Still Be Worth It", "Fire", "I Need You Tonight", "For The First Time", "Don't Touch Me" to name a few. Then he signed with Hearttake Song Records in Nashville, TN. where he met Carol Redo, the girl who eventually became his partner, Carol was one of 4 backup singers for Vince before he asked her to record with him. Vince and Carol had hits like "Oh! For The Love", "Enough Of You" and "Feeling Good" (Written by Bob Stamper)"No Letter Today" and their biggest song that they are known for "Let Me Go Lover".
