this is the choir buddy. i think everyone of us has talked them up at some point.

 

unfortunatly if you talk about them being a bluegrass band people are going to be VERY disapointed. electric bass, acoustic guitar with effects, keys, electric and acoustic dobro do not = bluegrass.

 

and the setlists have had very few burle tunes on them at all. if you bill them as being the band with burles songs you will be even more disapointed when less than half of them are his originals. petes tunes and covers have been taking up the bulk of their shows.

 

and btw--burle and todd shaeffer are my two favorite songwriters, i dont really think it is anywhere near possible, or appropriate, to compare them.

could break up and be gone tomorrow, which would make me and many
others very sad.
