That's what it's all about Jerry. And you enjoyed it as well. It
don't take much and it beats sitting 'round the bunkhouse playing for
the walls. Sounds like y'er well on y'er way.

I noticed at the Kentucky Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival that what
few musicians they had, were all playing Traditional Cowboy songs and
Traditional Country Music. Now, don't get me wrong here 'cause I
love to stand out in a crowd, but I was the only one dressed like B-
Western/Roy Rogers style and playing songs by Roy Rogers & Gene
Autry. I feel as though I got the most response as it was different,
yet songs folks grew up enjoying while watching Westerns as a child.

The same thing with Cowboy Action Shooting. When I go to the shoots,
everybody is dressed similar either, a working Cowboy look or the
Tombstone Movie look (long black coat, etc.). I think we have
Michael Martin Murphey (a wonderful performer BTW) to thank for
bringing out the real-true Cowboy look but at times, I do
wonder,,,Have folks forgotten the Silver Screen Cowboy???
