As many of you may know, I performed as both a Clown and Magician for
many years before taking on the role of a Singing Cowboy. But
lately, I've found myself performing more and more for younger
audiences and the Clown inside just keeps coming out. So, with all
these props lying around, I've added a Comical Cowboy character to my
repertoire that consists of Cowboy & Kids songs on the Guitar & Kazoo
along with some amazing feats of Magic. I call it my Wacky Wild West
Show.
On a side note, while in search of resources via the Internet, I
found a whole world of Cowboy Clowns, Comedy Western Performers and
Children's Entertainers with Western themed acts. So, some other
performers and myself have created a Group to help support the Comedy
Western Arts called the "RED NOSE RANCH". RNR membership is open to
anyone with a Comical, Western, Family Oriented act. You can check
us out at;

I performed my Wacky Wild West Show last Saturday for over 100
screaming, dancing, boot stompin' Brownie Girl Scouts in two shows
for the Kentuckiana Girl Scouts Festival of the Arts.
This event is spread out all over the city of Louisville, Ky at
various locations and offers several performances by a variety of
entertainers from musicians to magicians and clowns to other workshop
events such as glass blowing and scrapbooking. The Troops choose
which event they want to attend then are chosen by way of a lottery
so the good shows don't fill up first.
My act consisted of .45 minutes (each performance) of music and magic
with a Comedy twist. Things really kicked in when I performed the
kids songs on my guitar & kazoo, and when I broke out the magic
tricks,,,the room erupted. Stickers and Coloring Pages were handed
out to the kids and many asked if I'd come perform for their Troops,
Birthdays, etc.
Had a Great time but I was one whooped Cowpoke when it was over.
Happy Holidays To All Of Ya'll!!!!
