Always choose the slowest burning speed where possible....I normally use x8 ....modern drives can burn at x32, and whilst it doesn't directly give poorer sound...

Actually Ken I think the 8x and 4x DO refer to the burning speed. Don't think it has any effect on the sound Tom, but you need to ensure you are using CD-ROMs ...
