Howdy all--

Anyone here had any success recreating any of the Mellotron sounds
with their XL-1s? If I could hunt down a Vintage Pro ROM, that
obviously would take care of this (so would buying into the Roland
line, but this is much about time as it is needlessly spending money),
but since these are awfully hard to come by, I thought I'd ask if
anyone had embarked on making any Mellotron patches with this machine.
I fiddled a bit with it, and got a few things that sounded close, but
frankly I don't know my way around the E-Mu engine well enough to know
the subtleties of it... But I have a hunch it can be done.
