give the same answer to you in the XL-1 group......"No. You can buy V2 and sell
V1 if you want. The samples (the waveforms) are the same on both ROMs. Only
some of the presets )patches) differ and there is an extra bank of them. You
can load V2 presets into the V2 ROM. See this link for more info:
