The big Alabama event is coming up in just over a month. I was
wondering how many folks from Beaches A1A (or the Jacksonville area)
are planning to attend.
Just nosy,
Pat
There's a BIG Estate Sale planned for Friday, Saturday & Sunday
8am-4pm at the home of our dear late parrothead friend Martha
"Martharita" Wallace. Those of us familiar with her sense of style
know that there will be goodies galore available from the collection
she and Roger amassed in their parrothead travels. There will also be
plenty of non-flamboyant items available as well. The address is 7876
Wildwood Road in Alderman Park just off the Arlington Expressway (take
the service road to Townsend, turn left on Carlotta, then left on
Wildwood).

Don't miss this chance to acquire a memento to keep Martha close in
your memory, or to get some great bargains on plenty of everyday items.

HELLO TO ALL PARROT HEADS!
My name is Angelo Martinez. I am an official Parrot Head and I am
also the Executive Director for a private, non-profit school for
children with autism called The Jericho School.
I am extending to you an opportunity to participate in a phunraising
activity to benefit the many families of children with autism and
other developmental disabilities that we serve in this community.
We are participating in a program called Food for Funds. Basically
we show up to Jaguar games (and other events at the stadium) and
sell beer, hotdogs, pretzels, etc. and a percentage of the profits
go toward our non-profit organization. We have our own booth that
we run and we just need some extra people to show up to help us out.
You don't need to worry about any fees for tickets or parking and we
will even feed you and give you all the soda you want. (no beer…
sorry.)
If you find lately you have had too much party and not enough
purpose, this would be a very worthwhile thing to do! If you are
interested please contact the chairperson for this fundraiser:
Diane Maaske H: 262-4785; C: 422-4726; E-mail –
dmaaske@...
Volunteers can be as young as 16 so if you know any high school
students who would like to get some volunteer hours this is a good
way to do it.
Please find the schedule for the upcoming events below:
Sun 10/14 1:00 JAGS vs. HOU
Mon 10/22 8:30 JAGS vs. IND
