I've just finished to "read" the William's page. "Alta Vista's babel the fish"
is pucked (like Dan says...) after this experience... I translated the whole
page and I concluded after, that is was better to read it in English with a
dictionary. It was a crazy page that I was reading in French, babel was on a
"high" and I gave up.

I'm not surprised that Lemmy wanted Lips to play in Motorhead. Probably that he
has been aproached by some other bands to play with them. I wonder if Lips have
never thought to quit Robb in the 80's.... to play with some other guys.  I
doubt it! But, sometimes in a period of confusion, everything is possible. I
don't imagine Robb without Lips and Lips without Robb. Maybe Robb has been asked
too, to play in another band than Anvil... Anyway, if Tyler still doubt that he
looks like his father, he just have to look at Robb's pic, where see him with
the rest of the band on William's page. That's incredible.

I was looking of the cover of "BTB" carefull`: Stripe works so well!  I was
asking myself how would sound the songs, what kind of song it would be, what
kind of beat, you know... The album cover inspires a lot. It shows that it is a
simple job to be a blacksmith, but also that he absolutely needs an anvil, the
fire, a hammer and many many tools. Well, the rest of the year is going to be
long. But, the cover of any album doesn't reflect all the time the album. We'll
see cos we'll wait. Anvil: "...Make us another Forged in Fire...". Come on, I'm
kidding!!

Now that the successful Summer Tour is complete, what are the band's
plans? Is there more recording to be done soon? Will there be a cover
song on this one? Will G5 grow his hair again? Will there be another
drum solo on the new CD? That could be another AnViL trademark: every
studio recording from now on would have a long drum solo as a hidden
track at the end! An unsuspecting fan plays the disc and it ends. He
is quietly sitting recovering from the ear-bashing he has just
received,,, all is quiet....SUDDENLY a huge crash of drums erupts
from his still-cranked stereo and he has a massive seizure! Think of
the fun, a laff-riot!
    On another note, the new Iron Maiden CD comes out today. I might
have to get that one soon. Their last one was great, I thought.

Anvil will be performing at Sneaky Dee's in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
on September 26, 2003.

I was supposed to get that today but it nobody in town got it. There
was a shipping problem. It should arrive tomorrow or the day after.

I checked a band called "The Donnas" live at Vegas on TV last night.
I thought it was a king of style like "Gogos". They reminded me
the "Runaways" in their ways to wear their clothes...The guitarist is
young, but she kicks ass! I mean, I'm not a great fan of their song
but this girl is great. The style is a bit punky, sounding sometimes
like the Ramones, they probably copied them about their band's name.
The Ramones were not brothers and all named "Ramones", they are
all "Donna" (Donna F., Donna E., etc). They are maybe the only
women's band that I could stand with Girlschool. Their lyrics made me
think about Anvil's firts album. "Take me on the backseat", you see
what? In their first songs, Anvil was not always "fine" with girls in
their songs (Scenery is a good example): well, The Donna's songs are
not always fine with men! Young girls are hot now!!They were not
teasing, but playing and rocking. I was pretty surprised, I honestly
admit it. The guitarist had a Gibson Les Paul. She rocks! Her guitar
solos: I've been well surprised! They are from California. Their web
site sucks, I had a headheache when I finished to look at it...and I
had my glasses! I don't know if the band will survive, but we'll hear
about this guitarist. Her name is...Donna! (Very bright!)

Ok doo! It shows how I'm interested to Iron Maiden...I like all the
music, but I'm not able to stand "high soprano" voice
anymore...except Halford. I really didn't know about this new CD and

Holy crap, dude, how do you know all these bands from all these
places? Russian Metal! Polish! Pluto? Any Plutonian Metal going
around these days? Wow! Seriously, I used to follow all the bands but
now there's just sooooooo many of them. I think I will stick to my

The way Lori does her spelling or whatelse, my opinion is that we're not very
kind to tease her like that. I remember a Friday in 2001, when I had to insult a
guy ignoring what was an insults in English (They don't teach us at School). I
think that it doesn't matter what she writes, the fact is that she supports
Anvil. Is it important to spell English right? Wipy knows almost all the metal
bands and better than everyone here. I insulted him and I had what I deserved.

After our argument "on the board", I felt so bad (I can't support any argument,
live or in a bulletin board). I sent emails to Wipy telling him that we had to
be friends. We are good friends now...and when he has announced us that he was a
"father", he put my name in the message. I was so happy. He changed, like I
changed too. The language, the spelling or the attitude is not that important.
What is important is to not start another argument on this board, it looks
weird. I changed my ID Tangerine for Tangelaine to not be associated to the one
who wrotes those insults and provokes Wipy.
