Just wanted to let you know about a brand new site called Musicians
Connected. The goal is to help musicians in a particular area find
each other for playing/singing together.

The site has a smart system for searching and connecting musicians to
each other and matching their skills.

Musicians can find accompanists; find someone to play duets, trios
with, etc; form groups (e.g., chamber ensembles, jazz bands, etc.);
find teachers, students, gigs; or just have fun and go together to
concerts, or meet for coffee and talk for hours about music.

This service is for musicians of all ages (including kids) and all
levels (from beginners to professionals). The site is geared toward
classical music, modern classical music, baroque, jazz, ragtime,
opera, etc.
