download a genealogy report. You will find here that there is a
descendant:
Lortzing's daughter Caroline married Karl Kraft - who was a business
man and helped Lortzing when he was in Vienna. Their son Karl Kraft
was an actor. He has a son "Albert" Kraft-Lortzing. I think - but I'm
not sure - that he is still alive. If it is possible for you to
contact him, please let me know.
