Thanks to the continued help, generosity and industry of Al Bowlly admirers and
collectors, our attempt to assemble a complete collection of Al's records is
looking more and more like it can be a reality.
I have to check for a few duplicates (I'm continuing to compare transfers as we
go along in hopes of finding clean copies of everything), but I think we have
1039 unique tracks so far. Checking the discography that Ray Pallett has
assembled, I count 129 tracks left to be located.
The latest additions have come from Geoff Amabilino, who just sent 31 mp3 files
(!), many of them the elusive Len Fillis/Linn Milford "Hawaiian" items. Thank
you *very* much, Geoff! And thanks again to all who have helped thus far. You
are helping to keep Al's work and memory alive.
I have updated the want list, eliminating the "Rejected" titles, as these
probably no longer exist. (I would love to be proven wrong, however, so if you
have test pressings of any rejected titles, they would be welcomed
enthusiastically.) It's in the "Files" section.
