Hello Sven-Erik and all ( :
Allison would love to visit Norway. We have been building up, for the
past couple of years now, toward Scandinavian tour dates. On the
whole, Allison reaches Europe once a year, and we visit where we can -
and then, on the next trip, she reaches new territory.
Some cities, such as London, England, are very central for flights in
and out, so, it's a natural to return each year. Everywhere we go,
being so independent as Allison, it requires us to be able to get
around, find piano rooms and audiences, and make it back - all the
while covering the travel+ costs.
And, we never forget, it just takes some time to reach out farther. A
big challenge has been dealing with Visa requirements - timing and
cost-wise - to tour the U.S., where we know many people. Still, we'll
get everywhere eventually. Once Allison has performed all over North
America, and Europe, we'll likely visit Australia, Japan and other
places 'round the globe.
As always, I welcome learning of intimate venues, with good acoustics,
and pianos!
peace, Ad
