Hi James - cool, thanks for the word! Folks here have intro'd
themselves, but, then, most everyone goes back to lurking. I think
we are a particularly focussed bunch! Workaholics, perhaps. There's
a lot more reading than chatting - though, we're here ( :
Now, remember, when you're in Panama - should you see an acoustic
piano in a venue that's suited... hehe (now I won't spend any time
searching in Shirley!)
BTW, a long-time Fumbler, Emily, in France, will be performing on a
bill with Allison this May 9!! Sarah McLachlan's list has introduced
a number of us over the years and made lasting bonds ( :
Really glad you could venture over to our island over this Easter.
Indeed, nice Ani quote - we aim to make records and the live
experience true to each other. (Crazy thing with the show here on
SSI, the Box Office closed for the 72 hours prior to the concert -
which had me fielding calls and getting quite stressed, as I
couldn't supply any tickets. Anyhoo, it all worked out, as it always
does. Hometown shows are great, but they frazzle me more than any.)
You've lived a good stretch on both the coasts Allison calls home.
We'll have to catch up with each other in one port of call or
another. Alley's likely next visit to Victoria will be in December
for a "Tidings" concert.
You ship out soon - all the best to you and your crew/company!!
ciao for now, Ad

FTE since 1996. I've been intro'd to some fantastic artists via FTE
& people on there. Adrian kept on about Alley on FTE, and some
other fumblers had positive things to say. I picked up "Secrets" in
October (at Lyles Place in Victoria), and got hooked.

Lake, Ontario. I live in Shirley, BC, west of Sooke (& without a
piano in our local hall...).

voice live, being remarkably akin to the record (the record, of the
event, of people making music...)(*). This is a giant suprise
compared with so many "artists" who I have seen. I think that I am
preaching to the converted, but I'd highly recommend seeing her live.
