"It is not often that someone comes along who is a true friend and a
good writer." So observed E.B. White in Charlotte's Web (a most
wonderful book).
I've been fortunate in my own life to know a few, who, like
Charlotte, are both.
Transposing this essence to today's revolution in popular culture
and communications, it's possible to find true friends of music, and
good writers, in the world of blogs, podcasts and other web forums.
People dedicated to sharing a passion for sounds.
Muruch, West-Virginia-based, Mountain Stage-loving, self-
described "coffee & music enthusiast", focuses on album reviews -
creating a blog that highlights a wide range of artists, through
thoughtful and honest, clear prose.
Muruch has just published an interview with Allison. Allison, having
a blast, between concert dates in Paris, Prague, Frankfurt, Vienna
and bonnie East Kilbride, Scotland, reveals her character, and
current and past, @ http://muruch.blogspot.com/search/label/allison%

And, for the next 24 hours or so, you can win a copy of Allison's
newest album, "Little Light" with a simple visit/post. Here's what
Muruch says:
"If you've read this blog for any length of time, you've probably
noticed my unabashed love for Allison Crowe's music. She is my
favorite contemporary female singer. I'm happy to say I will be
giving away her new Little Light CD to one very lucky reader. You
can read my review of the album and download mp3s from it here -
