I just spoke with a customer service agent from Image-
Entertainment regarding the release of the matchbox twenty
Storytellers DVD. According to the woman I spoke with there is still
NO NEW RELEASE DATE (It is listed as TBA on their website). The
reason for the delay is due to Lippman Entertainment not liking the
some aspect of the DVD. According to the customer service rep. this
project has been RE-DONE many times and is still not to the liking of
matchbox twenty's management. All the online merchants that are
posting release dates according to Image-Entertainment are providing
false information. Image-Entertainment is the DISTRIBUTOR and (they
will distribute to the other merchants when the DVD is final done).
As per the customer service rep. "We (Image-Entertainment) are the
distributor and if WE don't have it then no one will"...and they
don't have it yet!
