All,
There is lots of lute music, almost all in tab, available on various
lute web pages..
In addition, you can buy books of lute music from Los Angeles Classical
Guitars at www.lacg.com.
I just ordered books by Piccinini and Kapsberger for tiorba. You can
order a book
of music for archlute by dalla Casa from Florence. If interested, I can
dig up the
address, please email me and I will look for it.
Web sites that have sheet music in pdf form include but are not limited
to:
http://web.tiscali.it/awebd/
http://www.gerbode.net/ft2/composers/
http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute/lute.html
Check out more sites at:

One option is to tune your altgitarren in the Dm tuning: FDAFDAGFEDC
and get a book of french baroque music. unilibro.it may have it I don't
know. Then you can read the tab exactly without having to make an
arrangement. If anyone is interested in this option I can ask some
lutenist friends where to find the books.
Hope this helps,
Marion
