Hello Marion,
It seems my email has been subject to bouncing, so my last message may
not have reached the group. Piccinini worked entirely in renaissance
tuning. He claimed to have invented the theorbo, and...recommended the
use of nails! Pachelbel is mostly known for his organ and string works,
you most probably know his Canon in D. The piece I have by him, which I
suspect is an arrangement of a keyboard work, is in baroque tuning, as
one would expect from his dates.
Have you tried the publishers Minkoff?
