music keeps the listener on tip-toes throughout, described by

"BINARY SECRETS"
Groove
With the strength of a painter from the Renaissance,in this album,
Dom F. Scab embarks into an exciting adventure through the roaring
waters of the most risky trends in the Space Sequencer Music. The
cover and the title of the CD certainly suggest the nature of the
music. Presented, in a way, as an electronic symphony where the
digital and the analogic give flesh to the main characters of a
history with a high dramatic intensity, the allegories of a union
between the organic and the cybernetic are musically translated
into a collection of pieces with a different dramatic tension, as
if they were the scenes of a movie. These musical scenes evoke
such things as risk, triumph, the epic crusades of an uncertain
end, fear or courage, to mention but a few. The composer knows how
to blend the sound ingredients with a masterful hand, avoiding the
monotony that sometimes taints so many synthesists, and providing
the music with a lively character, hazardous, typical of acoustic
performances. There are slow passages of pure meditative Space
Music, yet not merely ambient, but rather dominated by specific
melodies of a great strength. The sequencers develop a varied
range of roles, from those characterized by a physical, roaring
power, to those that appear to be crossing the threshold of the
intangible.

Synthesist Dom F. Scab is a member of the band At-Mooss. Born in
1965, he started taking piano lessons at age ten. Over the next
years, he worked toward acquiring the tools and the ability to
develop his own musical style. He began a solo career as a
composer in 1998. His music has gotten airplay on such famous
radio programs like Echoes (in the USA).Scab has composed some
soundtracks. He has collaborated with several musicians, among
them Albert Giménez (ex-member of Neuronium). He is also a skilled
sound engineer.

"PULSE"
At-Mooss Records
Joseph Loibant paints with intense sonic colors an album of strong
emotion. By using a sophisticated arsenal of synthesizers, he
takes us to a quest dominated by action and risk, although it also
has its moments of sweetness, such as for instance the track
"Evocation Free", a warm ballad between Space Music and Symphonic
Rock. The fast themes flow along diverse musical regions sited
between Trance and the currents associated with Space Music as
well as Techno. The melodies tend to range between the mysterious
and the sentimental. Some tracks, such as for instance "Pulse",
present an approach that at times seem to evoke extreme
situations.The rhythms are ellaborated mostly with powerful
sequences and complex percussive rhythms. Numerous artistic and
technical paint-brushes are awaiting their being discovered in new
listenings, therefore this CD, as is usual in the music created by
Loibant, turns out to be a constant source of wonders and acquires
new personalities as time goes by.

This is an album overflowing with energy. Tumultuous,imprevisible,
even though under a certain degree of order, as if it were a
tropical rain storm, "Random" takes us to a sonic adventure
dominated by rhythms of a metallic, percussive nature. The music
flows between Trance and Space Sequencer Music, with incursions
into Synth-Pop and evocations of Industrial Music. The palette of
sounds used takes somewhat unusual paths at times, which
contributes to emphasize the individualistic character of this
work, separated from the conditionings that are often imposed by
the belonging to short-lived trends. The music is impetuous,
risky, able to evoke situations where the emotions are given a
free run and adrenaline floods all our entire being. Here the use
of synthesizers has a very important role, and it also proves
Loibant's skills to work the electronic sound with the same
humanity that can pervade the performance of a virtuoso of the
violin or any other emblematic acoustic instrument.

"NUCLEUS"

As its title seems to suggest, "Nucleus" represents a descent into
the nucleus of electronic music made flesh in the trends near to
the Space Sequencer Music, Synth-Pop and Techno. Avoiding
dispersions in the general structure of this work, Loibant leads
his music along a path where one can apprecciate in all its
magnitude the power of sequencers and rhythmic sections. Likewise,
the melodies are concentrated on pure, hard lines, as if they were
the profiles of steel or the sparks of crystal. We can call this
cybernetic music yet it also is organic as it presents a strong
dose of emotion. The artist seems to have had this concept in
mind, as an attentive reading of the titles he has given to the
tracks suggests a hybrid blending of the electronic and the
biologic . As if he intended to identify the DNA of synthesizers,
the artist paints portraits of a high quality with the most
primary of elements in the electronic sound.

"REGRESSION ALPHA"

Sculpting the electrectonic sound with a certain impressionistic
air, Loibant gathers in this album the path of Space Music of the
seventies, just before many of its initiators started to shape it
into a metamorphosis towards more commercial, less avantgarde
forms. Yet this is not a revision, but rather a powerful exercise
of imagination to try provide that musical style with an evolution
it never had before, building a sort of alternate reality where
not only the main patterns of the cosmic trends continue to live,
but also a terrain where the analogic and the digital are
completely fused. In the technical aspects, Loibant has not
despised any means to achieve this remarkable re-evolution. One of
the most meaningful technical details is the fact that he has even
made use of the audio signal processing by means of electronic
valves. The electronic valve, a key piece of electronic technology
before the spread of the transistor, experiences then an
unexpected resurrection. In general terms, it can be said that the
very soul of the music itself is the same that characterized the
space trends in the seventies, when it was completely apart from
the commercial constrictures that later would undermine many of
its basic traits; whereas its body is made with the same pieces as
the innovative nucleus of Ambient as well as such genres as
Trance. The theme "Gorgonea Quarta" is perhaps the one that best
reflects such a singular nature.

Joseph Loibant shapes in this album a vigorous music, unnderlined
with a strong pulse and clear brush- strokes. A music of cutting
edges and sounds of a remarkable density and weight. Exploring the
most electronic aspects of the currents near to Trance, Synth-Pop,
Space Sequencer Music and Techno, the composer succeeds in
creating themes of an imparable rhythmic power. He also offers us
passages of a vivid emotional warmth, where the synthesizers are
perceived more like sound gnomes than like machines. Another trait
that is immediately noticed is the almost obsessive care in the
management of the sounds. Beyond the task of composing, such
artists as Loibant sculpt the music from point zero, choosing each
element of sound with the same care as they choose each note or
chord. Some subtle touches of Jazz complement several of the
themes, thus contributing to give the music a more individualistic
personality.

Synthesist Joseph Loibant is the founder of the band At-Mooss. He
possess a wide musical trajectory, which includes his activity as
a member of the techno band Programa, together with Carlos Guirao
(ex-member of Neuronium) and Jose M. Ciria. As for his personal
style, Loibant is the most eclectic member of At-Mooss. This is so
due to the many trends he has dealt with during his long career as
a musician, ranging from Jazz to Techno. He is a skilled sound
engineer / designer.

IURY LECH:
"VICTIMa OF DUNCEing"
Insolit
Iury Lech surprises us once again with an immersion into unknown
abysses in the ocean of the musical avantgarde.By using unusual
architectures, he creates dense pieces, brimming with shades. He
utilizes electronics with a great imagination and skill. Lech has
also made use of the collaboration of MACC with the stick as well
as the vocals provided by singer Ruix, who contributes her warm
and at the same time mysterious voice in several of the pieces.
The electronic treatment of her vocals enhances the most ghostly
shades of her vocal technique and it appears that we are dreaming
that we are hearing her. Insidious melodies, exotic rhythms and
industrial ambiences are some of the other ingredients Lech
constructs his album with. Prophetic urban folklore, or oniric
surrealism as real as life itself, the fact is that the music
created by Iury Lech always explores the most impressive areas of
such trends as Ambient or Trance.

IURY LECH
Iury Lech is a composer, movie maker and writer. He usually joins
all these aspects in his artistic works. Born in 1958 in an
immigrant family from Ukraine, he began his artistic career by the
mid 1970s. By the late '80s he began to release his albums.

ERIK WOLLO:
"WIND JOURNEY"
Monumental Records
Luminous airy music. Thus could this album by Erik Wollo be
defined. Luminous because it turns out to be as warm as the
sunrays in a clear morning. Airy, given its agile, dynamic,
crystalline and at times ethereal shades. Both the title and the
cover of the album refer to an air walk. And certainly, the
compositions seem to reflect the sensations and emotions that can
be experienced in free flight, onboard a balloon or an airplane.
Of course, there also are moments with other orientations. Yet
anyway, this is a very intense album, where it is obvious that
Wollo has immersed his five senses. On the other hand, This is
styllistically speaking his most electronic album in several
years.

Norwegian musician Erik Wollo started his career in 1980 as a
guitarist in the jazz band Celeste. His first solo album appeared
in 1983. It didn't take him long to evolve towards a more personal
style based in the use of electronic instruments. In the mid

for the radio, television and theatre. He has also produced other
artists.
