SUZANNE CIANI:
"SILVER SHIP"
Seventh Wave
With her usual style, romantic, sweet and melodic, Suzanne has composed for
this album ten themes, which range between the most Classical side in her
style, and the most New Age. A pleasant, melodic and very orchestral music,
where the keyboards and the fine arrangements have a fundamental presence.
Almost all the themes are rhythmic, even though not quite fast, and give
the leading role to the melodies. On the whole, this album has a great
emotional load. The music reaches deep inside when listened to with due
attention. Paul McCandless (wind instruments), Matt Eakle (flute), Teja
Bell (guitar), Joe Hebert (cello), Michael Manring (bass), Michael Whalen
(percussion) and Valerie Wilson (vocals) collaborate in this album.

Sampler "iNDEX02"

all the pieces have a pleasant freshness. The contents of this sampler is
as follows: Subsonic Experience: "Regained Paradise". Reuter / Boddy:
"History". dbkaos: "Hydrosphere". Ian Boddy: "Ecliptic". Ian Boddy: "The
Mystic". Robert Rich & Ian Boddy: "Edge of Nowhere". dbkaos: "After the

seek something more on the line of current electronic music.

LONDON ELECTRIC GUITAR ORCHESTRA:
"STICKS AND STONES"
2:13 Music
This is a risky release by L.E.G.O. merging Experimental Music with
Psychedelic influences, and other, more difficult to place, traits which
contribute to endow this release with a disquieting personality. The work
includes 3 pieces with an overall running time of 20 minutes. The
instruments with a greatest protagonism are the electric guitars.
VICENTE GISPERT

OPERA TO RELAX:
"BETWEEN TOMORROW"
Prudence / BSC Music
This compact disc by Opera to Relax is a freshn imaginative fusion of
Atmospheric Pop and Ambient Music. Their music is full of melodies that in
the seductive voice of their singer, Veronika Langguth, have an enchanting
sound. The compositions tend to be soft, with slow rhythms. Opera to relax
show a convincing way to make music for our days, adapted to the actual times.
ALEJANDRO HINOJOSA

GINKGO GARDEN:
"FAITH , HOPE & LOVE"
Prudence / BSC Music
The 15 compositions included in this album are an imaginative combination
of elements typical of Atmospheric Pop and others near to World Music,
whose result is a pleasant colection of pieces. Part of the music has
traits typical of Rock ballads. There also are symphonic traits. The melody
is an important element in all the compositions.

BRUNO SANFILIPPO:
"ANTHOLOGY ESSENCE 91 04"
Neuronium Records
This work is a compilation of different compositions by Bruno Sanfilippo
composed in different moments along his musical career, which reflect, in a
way, his artistic history from 1991 to 2004. Quite a number of the distinct
aspects in Bruno's style appear in this compilation: from the cosmic
Ambient to the romantic vein nearing to New Instrumental Music, all that
dominated by the warm presence of the melodies. A true delight for the ears
from the first to the last theme.

AUSTRALIS:
"LIFEGIVING"
"Lifegiving" is an album charged with good sonic vibrations, epic in some
moments, calm and simple in others, yet always full of shades that cannot
leave anyone indifferent. Most of the pieces can be labelled within the New
Instrumental Melodic Music, although they also have Techno and Ambient
characteristics. Beautiful melodies, perfectly intertwined, follow one
another without ups and downs.

CRAIG PADILLA / ZERO OHMS:
"PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE"
Lotuspike Records
This album is a collaboration between Craig Padilla and Zero Ohms in which
both explore the world of imaginative electronic music. It is a fascinating
symphony performed with synthesizers, whose seven pieces include widely
different styles, though mostly portraying Ambient and Space Music. The
most impressive piece in the album is, in my opinion, "The everything that
is no thing", of a majestic air and a great beauty. This is no doubt a
wonderful album, accompanied by a magnificient cover.

DARSHAN AMBIENT:
"RE:KARMA"
Lotuspike Records
This is an album with remarkable and varied stylistic textures that mix the
Ambient with New Instrumental Music and Atmospheric Pop. The rhythmic part
is Pop in style, whereas the melodies fuse romanticism with slight
meditative touches. Some pieces are ideal to let imagination soar through
unearthly worlds. There also are some pieces in a symphonic key, of an
almost classical nature. The expressivity that the artist achieves with the
synthesizers is remarkable indeed.
EDGAR KOGLER
http://www.lotuspike.com
STEPHANIE SANTE:
"COFFE CULTURE"
Stephanie Sante shows in this CD a wide range of stylistic directions as
well as a good dose of imagination. This is a magnificient work, where the
artist proves that there are no stylistic barriers for creativity. She
contributes her musical talent to achieve a fresh, emotive sonic journey.
The style of the release flows along different avantgarde aspects of
Ambient, New Instrumental Music, Atmospheric Pop, Jazz and World Music.

JOHN FOXX:
"CATHEDRAL OCEANS III"
Metamatic
This album offers the excellent opportunity that we can listen to John Foxx
in his most Ambient aspects. In "Cathedral Oceans III", the artist combines
dreamy melodies of great strength, with unearthly environments, outlining a
beautiful sonic landscape of a mystic-cosmic character. The electronic
instruments are interwoven with his ethereal voice, wrapped up in dreamy
echoing textures. His compositions are overflown with symphonic grandeur,
romanticism and emotion. Perhaps the most n impressive theme is "Harmonia
Mundi", in which the melodic majesty of Foxx is strongly present. In a
word, this is a very pleasant work to listen to.

DEL REY & THE SUN KINGS:
"I AM THE LIGHT"
This album is the Jackson Del Rey's first release in 15 years. The founding
member of Savage Republic and 17 Pygmies, has returned to the studio as
leader of his band Del Rey & the Sun Kings. Del Rey has a very fresh and
personal style. His music can be defined as Dark Worldbeat, although it
also enters Alternative Pop, Ambient and Classical sometimes. Touches of
Middle Eastern traditional music are also present, and even come to have a
leading role in different parts of the release. Perhaps the most remarkable
theme is "Blood doesn't lie".
MARCELLA CIRIGNOLA
http://www.trakwerx.com
JONATHAN GEER:
"ESSEX"
In this work, Jonathan Geer presents 14 compositions of a fresh air, where
rhythm and melody are very well combined. The music by this composer is
characterized by a great diversity of styles, ideas and emotions. "Essex",
inspired by the story of the Nantucket whaleship of the same name, presents
elements typical of New Instrumental Music, Classical, Orchestral Film
Music, Ambient, and of varied styles. The general orientation is romantic,
with emotive melodies, sometimes mysterious, sometimes epic.
EDUARDO FONTANA

BARRY FRANKLIN:
"TIME AND AGAIN"
Barrytunes Records
Excellent album this one by Barry Franklin. The 13 compositions in it
included have a great strength and an emotional beauty. The general style
of the work can be described as New Instrumental Music. The music is of a
soft character, romantic, with a certain Classical flavor. Touches of
Celtic Music and Orchestral Film Music are also present, and even come to
have a leading role in different parts of the release.
PASCUAL JURADO

DAVID WRIGHT:
"DEEPER"
AD Music
The last work by David Wright also is probably one of the best ones he has
made. The composer gathers very imaginative musical ideas in this album,
under a general focus approaching Melodic Space Music. There also are
Synth-Pop traits. The melodies usually are warm, lively. The rhythms are
sequencer-based mostly, thus resulting into complex, powerful and
impressive ones. These are ten themes, among which probably "Bamboo" is the
most charismatic one. In all, Wright has created a thrilling sonic
adventure in this work.

PETER KATER:
"EARTH"
Real Music
In "Earth", Peter Kater has carried out a work full of symphonism and
beauty. The album, which can be labelled as New Instrumental Music, also
has Classical traits and some light touches of Latin Folk. The music is, on
the whole, melodic, soft, and with clear romantic traits. Sometimes it
becomes festive, and at other times melancholy. This is an excellent
release that will surely be liked by a wide range of listeners.

PETER KATER:
"WATER"
Real Music
Peter Kater delights all the lovers of sensitive, melodic and romantic
music. He is one of those artists that know how to take us into musical
landscapes full of harmony. Not being quite tragic, "Water" maintains a
certain melancholy air. Most of the pieces can be labelled within the New
Instrumental Melodic Music, although they also have Symphonic and Classical
characteristics. The eight themes are slow, though not static.

KNITTING BY TWILIGHT:
"SOMEONE TO BREAK THE SILENCE"
It's twilight time
"Someone to break the silence" is an album with remarkable and varied
stylistic textures that mix the Dark Neofolk with Ambient atmospheres, or
the meditative airs with romantic Pop and Psychedelic Rock. The music has a
pleasant freshness, thanks to the imaginative melodies and architectures.
ALEJANDRO HINOJOSA

KELVIN L. SMITH:
"THE DREAMING MIND"
EMMA
Kelvin Smith offers us his mastery at creating a work full of beauty and
mystery, with themes that in some occasions tend to be of a melodic
majesty, while in other instances they have an enigmatic, or even a dark
air. The music flows in an impressive stream of cosmic soundscapes,
communicating a wide range of feelings and emotions. This is one unusual
album, fresh and innovative, which no doubt will contribute to increasing
the reputation of the artist.

VIC HENNEGAN:
"DESERT GOD"
Space for Music Records / Alien Tribes Music
This album by Vic Hennegan is a beautiful space odyssey based on the use of
synthesizers, ideal to let imagination soar through unearthly landscapes.
Ethereal sounds, magnificent architectures, dreamy melodies and gliding
rhythms, take us step by step into an unexplored terrain. In a few words,
these compositions are a magnificient sample of electronic music of a high
degree.

EVA FAMPAS:
"EVA FAMPAS PLAYS FAMPAS"
Aulia
In this CD, Classical guitarist Eva Fampas plays a selection of pieces
composed by her father, Dimitri Fampas (1922-1996) a highly acclaimed Greek
composer. The themes here selected constitute a good sample of the music
composed by Dimitri Fampas. In them, beautiful melodies that range from a
classical romanticism to an European Folk of warm airs are plentiful. The
expressivity that Eva achieves with the guitar is remarkable indeed,
without the help of any other instruments.
VALERIANO GUIOL
http://www.evafampas.gr
GRAHAM BOWERS:
"OF MARY'S BLOOD"
"TRANSGRESSION"
"ETERNAL GHOSTS"
"PILGRIM"
Graham Bowers is an artist with a powerful imagination, whose music always
goes beyond the conventional, surpassing even the frontiers of many styles
that already are avantgarde by themselves. His experimental music is
surrealist and full of sophisticated sound effects and incomparable
architectures. These four CDs are each one an impressive journey towards
the unknown.
