By default, I am following the business models as defined by such
sites as Flickr.com and audio sites such as soundcloud.com. Both of
those sites will *hide* the content (not delete) when the subscription
runs out (and re-display when a subscription is re-initiated).
When a subscription runs out, the last 3 uploaded files will still be
displayed (ie. default back to a free account).
I'm open to suggestions about the 'edge' conditions of how the model
will work. One possibility is that when a subscription runs out, only
the torrent is available (no streaming). Although that would create a
poor user-experience for listeners who would occasionally land on
tunes they cant listen to easily... so I'm not too keen on that.
The key point being that the streaming bandwidth and storage costs
should be covered by the uploaders.
Daniel, can you explain more about the motivation for your question?
