Taiwan is sending a 300 person group to this coming week's

We strongly Oppose Taiwan's bid to enter the World Health
Organization (WHO). We strongly Oppose the US Congress
to push Taiwan to become a member or have an observer status
in WHO. As concerned Voters and citizens, we strongly oppose
the US Congress bills S 2092, S 5022, and HR 4019 related
to support Taiwan's WHO bid.

The bill was introduced on February 12 by 11 US Senators.
It appears that 8 out of 11 Senators initiated the Bill S 2092 are
the members of the "Taiwan Caucus" -- It is Taiwan separatist
Chen ShuiBien's Political Lobby in Washington . Those 8
Senators are : George Allen (R-VA), James Inhofe (R-OK),
Tim Johnson (D-SD), Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Joe Lieberman (D-CT),
Trent Lott (R-MS), Richard Durbin (D-IL), and Kit Bond (R-MO).

A POLITICAL CONSPIRACY LINKED TO WHO JOINING :
The bottom line for Taiwan to become a member of the WHO
is totally a Political Conspiracy by the Taiwan separatists. Taiwan
separatists conspiracy for "independence" is frequently encouraged
and aided by the ultra Anti-China extremists in the US.
The real purpose of the Taiwan authorities does not lie in the
Health issue, but to create "Two Chinas" or "One China,
One Taiwan" in the international community.

WHO is a specialized Agency of the United Nations and only
Sovereign states are eligible to apply for membership. Taiwan is
part of China. Taiwan is not eligible to join the WHO as a member
or a quasi-member, or participate in any WHO activity as an
Observer, according to the relevant resolutions of the United Nations
and the regulations of the WHO.

The US Congress relentlessly pushes Taiwan to become a member
or observer of WHO, we wonder which "Sovereign Country" does
the US Congress want Taiwan to represent for ?

Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Since seventh century A.D,
China already had the records of Taiwan. Chinese governments of
different periods set up administrative bodies to exercise jurisdiction
over Taiwan. As early as in the mid-12th century the Song Dynasty
set up a garrison in Penghu, putting the territory under the jurisdiction
of Jinjiang County of Fujian's Quanzhou Prefecture. Please click History :

TAIWAN ALREADY HAS HEALTH INFOMATION FROM WHO :
In fact, Taiwan, as part of China, has a smooth channel to get all
of the Health information. On May 11, 2004, China's Foreign
Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said clearly that
"Chinese central government has been always concerned over the
well-being and the right of health of the Taiwan people, and has
promoted exchanges on health across the straits to help Taiwan
acquire the relevant information. With the permission of the Chinese
central government, experts from the WHO have been to Taiwan
several times to learn about severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS),
and other epidemics there, and the Taiwan experts have also
participated in the WHO special meetings on SARS and cancer.
Facts show that Taiwan has a smooth channel to get health
information, he said, adding that the Chinese central government had
expressed welcome for Taiwan health experts to join the Chinese
delegation to present at the WHO conference.
He said if Taiwan needs the WHO's technical assistance,
so long as it informs the Chinese central government, China will
give active consideration to their needs. "

TAIWAN REJECTED CHINA'S MEDICAL DONATION on SARS:
In May, 2003 while the SARS was going on in the world, in order to
strengthen exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Straits, a
symposium had been held in Beijing, China for medical experts to
exchange experience, and teleconferences had been held between the
Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The Chinese central
government also agreed that the World Health Organization could
send experts to Taiwan to inspect and guide their work.
China also sent protective materials, such as gloves, masks (100,000
surgical masks) and shoe-covers to Taiwan and it was preparing to send
a team of the most experienced and best medical experts to Taiwan .
Unfortunately, Taiwan authorities had turned down all of the good will
and donation from the Chinese mainland in regard to preventing and
treating SARS, regardless of the health and safety of Taiwanese people.

This shameful and sad major incident clearly demonstrated that
the true face of the Taiwan separatist authorities in participating in
the WHO was purely a Political one to create "Two Chinas" or
"one China, one Taiwan" in the eyes of the world. The US
government is wrong to support Taiwan's WHO bid which
appears to strengthen their "Independence" conspiracy.

A VICIOUS BIASED "ANTI-CHINA" EXTREMISM in US :
Those Senators and Congressman who joined Taiwan Separatist
Chen's Washington political lobby "Taiwan Caucus" are obviously
being mis-led or having a biased Anti-China ideological extremism,
regardless. Numerous Anti-China extremists including Pentagon in
US still stubbornly hold the Cold War mentality against China even
while China is making great efforts to push for Peace in Korean peninsula.

Those ultra hard-line Anti-China Congressmen initiate numerous
bills and resolutions in US Congress against China. A few Anti-China
US Congress leaders even created a so called "US-China Economic
and Security Review Commission" to strike China every year including
to create a false "China Threat" theory. They catch every opportunity
to aid Taiwan's "independence" plot so that to break the present
Peace along the Taiwan Strait and in South East Asia. Their ultimate
goal appears to break the very Important US-China Relationship
and endanger the World Peace.

We completely Oppose all of the above vicious Anti-China
"extremism". It is so important to the World's Peace and
World's Economy that all of the Chinese people to be re-united
along the Taiwan Strait instead of cruelly being divided.
To blindly help Taiwan to get into the WHO is equivalent to
potentially sabotaging the Peace in the region and it will harm
the whole World.

We urge US Congress and government to honestly strengthen
the important US-China Relationship and the first important step
is to respect China's territorial interity and sovereignty. We also
urge all countries to Stop Taiwan's WHO bid conspiracy. Thanks.
