1: We ask US CONGRESS to Immediately STOP ALL THE
INTERFERENCE WITH ANY CHINESE COMPANY'S BID
For An US Company. From all of the Anti-China Bills and
Amendments introduced by the US Congress, it appears clearly
that our Government is Manipulating American companies by using
a "SCARE" TACTIC to block Unocal from Accepting a Higher
Bid offered by China's CNOOC.
While the US Congress is hypocritically Accusing the Chinese
company being "controlled" by Chinese "Communist Government",
the US Congress is doing FAR MORE attempting to Manipulate
and Block All Chinese companies Investment in the US .

2: We Ask our Government to INVESTIGATE THREE
Congressional members that Chevron has reportedly been
Providing with campaign Funds (MONEY). These members
are--Rep. Richard Pombo, R-CA., Sen. Kent Conrad, D-ND,
and Sen. James Inhofe, R-OK.
We ask ALL of the Bills and Amendments proposed by these
members to BE CANCELED Immediately, relating to China's
CNOOC's Unocal Bid.
Reports said that they have Created such Vicious Perception
that Congress could DELAY or SPIKE a CNOOC deal is viewed
as a Major Factor in Unocal's decision to stick with Chevron
despite its Lower Bid. Reports said that ALL three donations
were disbursed by Chevron on June 29, about ONE WEEK
AFTER CNOOC announced its bid. According to the Center for
Responsive Politics. Pombo -- who represents San Ramon, Calif.,
where Chevron is based -- has received $21,500 from Chevron
since 1989. Reports also said that Conrad and Inhofe have also
previously received Donations from Chevron. Those are based
on "Reported" Money. We have No Doubt that there might have
More MONEY and POWER "TRADED" Under the table.

3 : We ask our Government to INVESTIGATE the following
members who may have received Funds or Donations from
Taiwanese Separatist Government thru different secret channels :
a: Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) c: Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND)
b: Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK). d: Rep. Phil English (R-PA)

It appears that All of the above members belong to the Extreme
Anti-China Congressional Entity "Taiwan Caucus" which appears
to be Directly linked to the Taiwanese Fanatic Anti-China Separatist
Government. It appears that they have introduced Bills, inserting
vicious Amendments to Incite the Congress to Thwart China's
CNOOC's Unocal bid.

4: The FACT is that America's Economy is NOT A MARKET
DRIVEN ECONOMY. The US Congress Hypocritically Attempts
to Block All of the Chinese Investments in the U.S. is a Clear

CHINA-BASHING BILLS :
A: We Strongly OPPOSE the Sen. Charles SCHUMER(D-NY)
Bill : "If a foreign, government -owned company tried to buy a U.S.
company, the measure would bar the U.S. government from
approving the deal until 30 days after the State Department reports
to Congress on how U.S. companies are treated when they try to
buy companies in the same industry in that country. "

B : We Strongly OPPOSE Rep. Phil ENGLISH (R-Pa.)
sponsored bill that "would Authorize Tariffs on government
-subsidized imports from "Non market economies" such as China."

C: We Strongly OPPOSE Sen. Byron DORGAN's bill
to Prohibit Unocal to be acquired by CNOOC .

D: We Strongly OPPOSE Rep. Richard POMBO's Resolution
that the proposed buyout could threaten to impair the national
security of the United States and asking the President to initiate
a review if the companies proceed.

E: We Strongly OPPOSE Sen. Kent CONRAD coauthored
July 11 letter to senior Bush administration officials questioning
whether the Chinese government's financial support of the CNOOC
bid violates agreements under the World Trade Organization.

F: We strongly OPPOSE the Sen. James INHOFE proposed
amendment to Senate legislation requiring the interagency Committee
on Foreign Investments in the United States to consider energy and
economic security in its review of foreign acquisitions of U.S. companies.

G : We Strongly OPPOSE to put the US House on Record
against permitting the Treasury Department from using any funds
to favorably recommend selling a California-based oil company,
Unocal, to China National Offshore Oil Company Ltd.
