**Thanks for report-- glad they appeared live :). Their album POT LIQUOR
(avail. now from Diesel Only Records, or more gen. release 3/23) is IMO awesome.
And I think you
characterize their sound very well. Sue has made some great, adventurous
records
last few years, solo & with Run On, & boy it's nice to hear Angel again after
so long.
This record grows on me with each listen-- it also sort of resembles The
Handsome
Family I think, if anyone knows them (husband/wife 'alt/ country' duo Brett &
Rennie Sparks), & Neko Case's work. Ed
