The show was on Nov 2, 2007 at Benaroya Hall...a phenomenal venue for music..one
of the best.... PERIOD!
Baldy gave a review of the show, and since it is late I will default to him, &
to make it easy for you...click here http://www.aliceinchains.com/baldy.aspx
and here is a youtube clip of AiC doing Zeppelin's Kashmir:

I found another youtube link for a song that was performed at the 2007 Symphony
show, but this link is an old one (with Layne). However this same tune was
among the first that AiC performed at this recent Benaroya show. The intro of
Sickman with some strings and piano, blew my mind...I knew right away what was
coming...in actuality it was Wasp and Whale that morphed into Sickman, which by
the way is to this day my all time favorite AIC tune, that is rarely heard on
the airwaves nor covered by any band.
I was stoked to say the least to hear the new AiC play this one.
more later.....bed time. Gettin old, today was my 40th bday ...good by 30's ;-)

Hey there jquenell...When was this symphony event held? I see you wrote (not so)
recently. But, I am assuming it must have been in 2007 or ealier. I really want
to go to the tribute weekend in Seattle this summer. I heard last year's tribute
was rockin', and that DAUHTRY was even there. That would be cool to see the pics
you took. Well, write back when you can...rock on!! Aic Fan 4ever!!jqunell

privelege to attend the special Seattle Symphony charity even that included
special guest AiC and Anne & Nancy Wilson, who performed with the backing of the
Seattle Symphony. AWESOME!I had the best seats I ever had for an event like
this, 7 rows back front and center. I had forgotten my digital camera ...major
brain fart, so I purchase 3 disposable camera and snapped away.I have
procrastinated, as I am so used to just downloading omages to my PC that I never
think to dump off the cams to get developed. I plan to do this ASAP, and will
share photos when I do.I also won one of the auctions, a limited
numbered/autographed set of 4 silkscreened "insect" posters for the Acoutic tour
in 2007.very cool.So theirs the latest update for the AiCjunkie hailing from
Tacoma WA.What's new with you all?JQ---------------------------------Looking for
