A group of Richmond High School students produced the documentary "Journey
for Justice - Crossing the Line" about the School of the Americas and
their trip to the November Vigil to close it down. The film includes
footage from the annual protest at the gates of Fort Benning in Georgia,
footage from Latin America etc.
A three minute trailer of the film has been posted on MySpace:
http://myspace.com/journeytoawareness
as well as on the Proyecto ˇYa Basta! webpage:
http://www.geocities.com/zapatistablock
The student body at Richmond High is 70% Latino and pretty active.
The 3min. trailer is "revverized," which means that 20 seconds after the
video is over, an advertisement appears. The revenue that is generated
through clicks on the ad is being shared 50/50 between Revver and the
campaign to close the SOA. 50% go to Revver, the company that is hosting
the trailer on its page and 50% will go towards the cost for putting on
the November vigil at the gates of Fort Benning in Georgia (November
17-19, 2006): http://one.revver.com/watch/73323/format/flv/affiliate/28821
