Hey-- I have a crazy idea.

Antje is playing in the MA area again in a couple of weeks.

The Nov. 4th show I can't make -- sadly (ok, NOT so sadly), I have
tickets to see the Decemberists. BUT she'll be returning again to the
ME And Thee Coffee house in Marblehead. WHICH I can't see missing...

Anyway.

I'd like to see this flourish as more of a community, rather than just
an information link. We've already got Antje's official sites, and
her fan website to cover the news, etc. I'd like this to be more
about the FANS than the artist. Of course, share stories about her,
talk about her etc. But, have this be more FUN. Work out carpools to
shows, maybe organize meeting before shows, gaining "concert buddies",
etc. Heck-- maybe even plan a meeting to include Antje for dinner or
something! Who knows where this could go!

Anyway. My crazy idea:

In the Hey Days of my Antje Fandom, my daughter and I used to put
together little gift baskets, etc. to give her at every show we went
to. Once we just got her a basket of flowers, another it was a basket
of candies and goodies, and another were homey things for when she was
on the road (mini incense burners, candles, mug with cute stuffed
bear, coffee, tea, etc.).

Would anyone have any interest in maybe pitching in and surprising her
when she comes back to MA again? Puting together another little
basket o' goodies for her?
