This is from 'The John Lennon Encyclopedia by Bill Harry.
 
David Henry Lennon
 
First son of Alfred (Freddie) Lennon & Pauline Lennon (nee Jones), born in
Brighton in February 1969.
    Freddie Lennon lavashed love & attention on David, his second son - taking
advantage of this new chance at fatherhood & able to provide David with the
devotion that he'd never been able to give John.  Perhaps subconsciously aware
of this, John began to withdraw his attention.  Pauline mentioned that, after
David's birth, John stopped wiriting to them & he showed no interest at all in
his half-brother.

I'm pretty sure I read one time that when Freddy Lennon remarried he had two
other sons. Does anyone know where they are now and if they've met Julian?
