Ok, I gotta respond here now
Yes, you are right, the John-Cynthia relationship is in the past, but
so is the John-Yoko relationship. However, I may not have known John
face to face, but from regarding interviews from the people who have
been there themselves John DID love Cynthia and once regarded CYNTHIA
as his true love from 1958 till around mid-1968 when he realized that
he was in love with Yoko. That happens to everyone to change their
loves around.
Besides, what do you have against of Cynthia anyway?
He didn't really married her just because she was pregnant. He made
the decision, not her dad with a shotgun. He wanted to get married to
Cynthia anyway, whether she got pregnant or not, but would've waited
a bit later. I got proof from Pete Best, Julia Baird, and Astrid
Kirchnerr saying that John wanted to get married to Cynthia once the
Beatles are up and rolling.
If he didn't love Cynthia, do you think that their marriage would've
NOT lasted 6 years? If he didn't love her, but married her JUST
BECAUSE she was pregnant, the marriage won't last a year. It's a
different scenerio here.
Maybe you ignore the fact that Yoko wanted to divorce John in the
1980 (and he to her and to return to England) and she was having an
affair with Sam Green while he was still seeing May Pang behind her
back (according to May). That does not sound like a perfect marriage
to me. John and Yoko would probably have failed with their marriage
if John had lived...
