Welcome to the Arab Classical Music Society (ACMS). The primary interest of this group is to bring attention to the legacy of Arab Classical Music and promote its performance and study. The group is also interested in encouraging the preservation of its practices and genres through workshops, teaching and research. The group is centered in Chicago and membership is open to all musicians, (professionals, amateurs, and students); musicologists, and non-musicians who are interested in attending concerts and/or learning more about Arab Classical music. Please use this ground to the benefit of Arab Classical Music and art.
