My first fiddle lesson was last Saturday. Seems I need a bow, as the
one I have was declared "virtually unplayable".

My instructor recommended that I spend no more than $50 until I get a
feel for what I want, which might take a year or more.

I quick browse of the internet vendors yields names like Glasser, Kun,
Scott Cao, LaSalle, Siegler, and Geipel.

Any suggestions / advice?
