Looking for intermediate fiddler   Message List

What with our primary fiddler at Georgia Tech studying physics, she's not
always able to play for local area dances.

So, we're starting to look for someone who's gotten beyond the beginner
stage, has maybe 20-30 oldtime tunes under their belt, and can regularly
play up to 120BPM dance tempo. And who would like the opportunity to
play old-time in a dance band with hammered dulcimer, banjo, mandolin,
guitar, bass, and piano.

There's usually the opportunity for some compensation, at least gas money
and dinner, if not a bit more.

Anyone curious can look at http://www.mnopltd.com/bpr.html and feel free
to contact me.
