There's a great site called Fiddle hangout were you could probably find a fiddler near you. I'm a newbie fiddler myself, leaning more toward bluegrass, and I just got back into lessons after a couple months off. I'm right over in Powder Springs, and not opposed to jaming if your not to picky about what you call old time. I can play a handful of standards, but I don't cross tune, or play the obscure stuff. If your looking for a good dedicated old time fiddler, I've met a couple of them on line at the fiddle hangout who live in the area.
