Brian Frandsen is a native of southern California, and has called

premiere newspapers The Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribuneムas well
as local publications, City Weekly and Listen Magazine. He has had
his work reviewed and featured in other publications in this country
and abroad. He was a member of the Salt Lake City poetry-slam team
for2005, has authored several books of poetry, recorded a CD, and
will be one of eight poets featured in a forthcoming anthology (PUSH).

Kate Geenberg hails from Boston but now lives in Ithaca, NY, while
pursuing a Linguistics degree at Cornell University. She has done
feature performances at smaller venues in New York, and has been
featured in one of NJ's oldest newspapers, The Westfield Leader. She
has had her work printed in other regional publications in both
French and English, while also editing Ithaca's all-poetry
publication, [plug] Poetry Magazine. After competing with Team Ithaca
2005, she is looking forward to this year's Nationals and currently
has a CD and a chapbook available.

Please join us on one or both of these two great nights!
