A couple people have asked about tickets and qualifying for the
iWPS Greater Phoenix Slamoff. It will be December 27th at The Paper
Heart. Tickets night of show will be $10, but there are two ways for
you to get in FREE!

Way #1, the Phoenix Slam iWPS Season Pass. $20 gets you into every
Phoenix Slam for the rest of the year, and then into the iWPS finals
for free. You can catch every one of the four qualifying slams as the
tension and drive builds to find out who will represent the BEST arts
venue in Phoenix at the BEST individual poetry slam of the year!

WAY #2, get your Anthology membership. the iWPS finals qualifies as
an Anthology Member's Pass event, so if you have one, you get in for
free.
Bronze Level: $10, One free admission ticket (Anthology Member’s
Pass) for an Anthology event (e.g., Paper Heart slam)*

Silver Level: $25, Two free admission tickets (Anthology Member’s
Pass) for Anthology events (e.g., Paper Heart slam)*

Gold Level: $50, Four free admission tickets (Anthology Member’s
Pass) for Anthology events (e.g., Paper Heart slam)*

Platinum Level: $100 and over, Free admission to all Anthology events*

Remember also that Necromancer is also coming up, as well as the
Cthuhlu Beach Party, so you can definitley get alot of use out of the
member's passes.

I just updated it. It is important to note that we are going back to
the pre-registration, and a form to register is on the website. It's
FREE to slam if you register ahead of time, and that includes the
door, so it's no cost to you to try and win you're part of $100 AND a
spot in the iWPS final. If spots are available, we will let poets
register at the door for $5 (that's one $5 to get in and get on the
list). I have 4 spots left for August, so I would suggest you scoot
on over and get your name in the hat if you have not already.

If you would like to qualify for the 2007 iWPS Paper Heart Final, to
be held Wednesday, December 27th, 2006, then you will definitley WANT
to hear about this:

Step One: Qualify for the final

Poets may slam in the Greater Phoenix Poetry Slams in August 30th,
September 27th, October 25th and November 29th.
The top 2 placing poets in each bout that are not already qualified
will earn a spot in the final on December 27th.
Two additional spots will be provided in a drawing- any poet that
attends all four slams but does not otherwise qualify is eligable for
the drawing.
Step Two: Handle the Business

At the show on December 27th, provide an entry fee of $20 (Anthology
Silver members and above have this fee waived).
Step Three: Win the Slam

The winner of the slam on December 27th will represent The Paper
Heart at the 2007 Individual World Poetry Slam Championships to be
held in Vancouver, B.C. in February, 2007.
