Hello everyone-

I'd like to get a handle on the number of Necromancer poets we
may have that are sitting on the fence... I have 15 spots still
available and I'd like to be at least 1/2 full (10 spots) by the end
of the week... Please let me know if you're looking at participating-
remember we have cash prizes for 1st ($250) 2nd ($100) and 3th ($50)...

Anthology, Inc. invites you to join us for the first annual
Necromancer Festival. This tremendous celebration of spoken word will
feature twenty of the southwest's best poets bringing their game to
the best arts venue in the Southwest- The Paper Heart in Phoenix, AZ.

Tickets will be available for $10 each night, available online or at
the door. However, we have a special online only offer of BOTH nights

7:30PM- Necromancer Prelim Bout 1
9:30PM- Intermission
10:00PM- Necromancer Prelim Bout 2

Friday, October 20th

12:00PM- The Great 2006 Water Balloon Showdown
3:00PM- Necromancer Boggle Showdown
8:00PM- Necromancer Finals

Tournament Format

With a nod to the iWPS format, the preliminary bouts will feature a
round of 3 minute poems, a round of 2 minute poems and a round of 1
minute poems. Scores are cumulative, and the top 5 finishers in each
preliminary bout will be in the finals bout on the night of the 20th.

The finals competiton will feature 3 rounds of 3 minute poems, in
"Traditional" poetry slam style, with scores being cumulative.

No repeats are allows in any competiton performance.
